Directions from Granada Airport: Take the A92 towards Granada, take the exit for Santa Fe (just after you get on the motorway) and follow the signs for Granada. Look for the A44/E902/N323 south and follow the signs for Motril. After approx.30 minutes you will exit the motorway at exit # 164 (Beznar/Lanjaron). Follow the signs for Pinos Del Valle, the third exit from the roundabout. Follow the road down, across the Beznar Dam and up to the village.
As you enter the village you will come to a "T" junction. Go left and follow the road around and down about 200 - 300 hundred metres. You will see a bus shelter on your right at the bottom of the hill. Turn left here and follow the road around to the little triangular village square. You will see a phone box and a small pharmacy on your left. At the square, turn left and follow the road around to the first street on your right (Almeria). Park as tight to the right side of the street as possible (just before Almeria). Walk up the track opposite and around to the right and you're at Casa Montserrat.
Please note: After your long travel day, it is advisable to stop on route to the village and pick up your groceries for the first few days. This will enable you to relax once you arrive at Casa Montserrat.
Directions from Malaga Airport: Take the MA21 north towards Malaga. After a couple of miles you will loop around onto the MA20, heading for Motril. (When you pick up your car see if the staff can give you directions, it's a little tricky). Just remember you're heading for Motril. Once you're on the A7 (Autovia Del Mediterraneo) follow the signs for Motril. Just after Nerja the Autovia changes name to N340/E15 continue for Motril. When you pass Saloberna (about 1000 mts) you will take the off ramp for Granada. You will come down to a roundabout, take the third exit and head north on the N323/E902 for Granada. This stretch of road is patrolled heavily by the police (on motorcycles, working in pairs) so watch you speed. Follow the road north to exit # 164 (Beznar/Lanjaron) at the roundabout take the third exit and cross over the autovia. At the second roundabout take the third exit sign posted Pinos del Valle. Follow the road down, over the dam and up to the village.
