Pinos Del Valle is centrally located which allows you easy access to most major activities from the beautiful beaches of the coast to historical Granada.  Lets not forget that Sierra Nevada Sking is only a 45 minute drive

Sking:

Granada:

Granada lies about 25 kilometers north and is considered to be one of the most visited cities in Spain.  Here you will find the world famous Alhambra once occupied by King Ferdinand and Queen Isabella who lie in state within the city walls.  Enjoy the sites and sounds and also the shopping found at the Albaycin.  Granada offers a multitute of restaurants appealing to most palates and the tapa's are out of this world.  For more information on things to do and see visit www.andalucia.org  for information on the Alhambra www.alhambra-patronato.es

Walking:

For those of you who enjoy walking/hiking Pinos Del Valle is conveniently located to several major walking routes - you will find maps and the degree of challenge in your rental units.  The most spiritual walk can be seen from Casa Montserrat approx 940 meters above sea level is the "Christ of the Shoe" a small chapel built by the villagers on top of the mountain overlooking the village.

Bird Watching:

Andalucia is a bird-watchers paradise and attracts ornithologists throughout the year.  The best time of year to be able so see a wide variety of birds is during the spring.  A short walk from Casa Montserrat one can see a variety of species including golden eagles along with Egyptian and Griffon vultures.  A short distance are the Durcal Wetlands where other species of birds can be observed.

Mountain Biking:

Pinos Del Valle is ideally situated for those mountain bike enthusiasts either bring your own or enjoy the use of ours.  These bikes are specifically for the sole use of our guests and can be used for a nominal fee of 30 euros per day which will cover upkeep and maintenance.  Please book in advance as they go fast.
